Cookie Policy

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They help websites remember your preferences and keep you signed in. We also use browser localStorage for some preferences, which works similarly but stays on your device. The Fixr browser extension uses browser extension storage rather than website cookies for some functionality.
How we use cookies
Fixr uses a minimal set of essential cookies and preference storage. As of 11 June 2026, the web app does not load analytics, advertising, behavioural-tracking, or session-recording cookies by default. If we later introduce optional third-party services, they will remain disabled until you opt in.
Essential Cookies
Required for authentication, core functionality, and remembering your preferences. These cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| sb-access-token | Authentication token (JWT) that keeps you signed in | Session |
| sb-refresh-token | Allows your session to be refreshed without re-entering your password | Session |
| fixr_consent | Records your cookie preferences so we don't ask again | 180 days |
| sidebarCollapsed | Remembers whether the navigation sidebar is open or collapsed | 1 year |
| theme (localStorage) | Remembers your light or dark mode preference | Persistent |
Third-Party Services
Fixr does not currently enable optional analytics, advertising, chat-widget, or session-replay cookies in the web app. If that changes later, they will remain disabled until you explicitly opt in.
| Service | Purpose | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Optional third-party services | No optional third-party cookies or similar tracking technologies are currently active by default in the Fixr web app. | Disabled |
